Otoro, the fattiest part of the tuna (大とろ), has become the perfect name for a unique sushi experience in El Paredón, one of the most prominent beaches in recent years in southern Guatemala.
In this project, the name and the concept were devised to transform the venue into a friendly and innovative restaurant, blending Asian and Latin influences with a modern attitude characteristic of Guatemalan beaches.
For the branding of Otoro Sushi House, a character reminiscent of Japanese brand mascots was created, along with a visual identity that plays with psychedelia through the repetition of patterns in its materials.
