Draag is a shoegaze project hailing from Los Angeles, California.
In 2022, I was commissioned to develop the cover photograph for their latest album, 'Dark Fire Heresy,' under the direction of Francisco Zurita. The album's concept delves into the challenges faced by the band members during their youth, aiming to portray this through liminal spaces that evoke feelings of nostalgia and a certain discomfort in its cover.
The cover photograph was taken at the Rectoría de Santa Clara in the Historic Center of Guatemala City and was retouched to capture an ominous sentiment reminiscent of liminal spaces.
